Seaside and the North Oregon
Coast
| The Jubilee is held in Seaside Oregon, a
community located along Hwy 101 on the North Oregon Coast. Seaside is one
of Oregon's most popular tourist destinations and provides a great location for
the festival, as well as, a centralized location from which visitors can explore
this beautiful region when the music is over.
The town features a 1.5mile long "Prom" allowing visitors to stroll
the beach front adjacent to Hotels, Businesses, and Private homes, while still
enjoying the breath taking view. Although Broadway Street could be considered the "heart" of Seaside,
since it is lined with unique shops and restaurants, including Arcades and
Bumper Cars, there are other hidden treasures to be discovered throughout the
town. Running through the center of Seaside is the Necanicum River.
If you have the proper ODFW Shellfish License, you can crab from the 12th Ave.
bridge, or if the season and tide is right, dig for clams on the beach. |

| The North Coast area
has played an important part in American History, dating back to before the
Lewis and Clark expedition. The
principal communities of the North Oregon Coast consist of Seaside, Cannon
Beach, Gearhart, Warrenton, and Astoria. Each
community is unique in their own way and offer you many opportunities to
explore, relax, and enjoy yourself. We invite
you to come early, stay after the Jubilee, or visit us year round and see for yourself all the area
offers. |
